Trivium Academy of Southern Nevada was founded out of a deep and unwavering desire to serve families in Las Vegas. We saw public education exposing children to confusing ideologies and messages that undermined their confidence, clarity, and sense of identity.
Parents were searching for a place of education that combines excellence, faith, and affordability – a place where their children could thrive academically and spiritually.
After much prayer and planning, we opened our doors in 2025 with a fresh vision for educating the future. Our mission is simple yet profound: we do not seek to teach children what to think, but how to think. Rooted in a classical Christian framework, our foundation rests on the Trivium – Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric – a time-honored model.
At TAOSN, we believe that true wisdom begins with reverence for God, “for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10) This foundational truth shapes everything we do – guiding how we teach, how we encourage curiosity, and how we prepare students to engage the world thoughtfully and faithfully. By fostering a love of learning grounded in faith, we equip students to think clearly, make wise decisions, and grow as compassionate, responsible citizens.
TAOSN is not a place where students simply must be – it is a place where students want to be. When a child's curiosity is nurtured and their joy of learning is protected, they gain the confidence to soar in their education. Across every subject – from history and science to literature, art, and foreign language – our students are challenged, supported, and guided to achieve mastery while growing in character, faith, and independence. In addition, we emphasize American values and the responsibilities of being a biblical citizen, helping students understand their role in serving God, family, and community with integrity and courage.
From the very beginning, our goal has been to partner with families whether through homeschool or in-person – to raise children who think boldly, live faithfully, and lead with purpose. What began as a vision to meet a critical need has grown into a vibrant community where children are known, families are supported, and faith, learning, and citizenship walk hand in hand.
