TAOSN believes education is the formation of the whole person – mind, character, and calling. Scripture teaches that “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge” (Proverbs 1:7), and we hold that genuine learning begins with reverence for God and submission to His truth.

We affirm that children are created in the image of God and are capable of meaningful intellectual growth when taught with purpose, structure, and care. Education, therefore, is not merely the accumulation of information, but the cultivation of wisdom, discernment, and virtue.

How You Learn Matters More Than What You Learn

Modern education focuses on content delivery. Classical education focuses on mental training. We don't just teach students what to think—we teach them how to think, how to learn, and how to discover truth for themselves. Classical education has produced history’s greatest thinkers, leaders, and innovators.

Primary Foundations & the Classical Trivium

  1. Primary Level (K-2): Wonder & Foundation: A joyful, hands-on introduction to classical Christian education through play, discovery, and modeling. Core subjects: Developmentaly and grade appropriate creative instruction in Math, Phonics-based Language Arts, Reading, Bible, Literature, History, Science, and Latin.
  2. Grammar Level (3-6): Laying the foundation of knowledge through clear structure. Young learners build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and arithmetic, enriched with Latin, history – including American founding stories – and Scripture. Hands-on activities and memorization foster curiosity and faith.
  3. Logic Level (7-8): Students develop critical thinking through logic, debate, and analysis of classical and American texts, integrating math, science, and theology to question and reason with wisdom.
  4. Rhetoric Level (9-12): High school students master eloquent expression through writing, public speaking, and advanced studies, including American civic principles, preparing for college and leadership with a Biblical worldview.

Biblical Worldview Integration

Every subject – from mathematics to literature – is taught through the lens of Scripture, helping students see God’s hand in all areas of knowledge.
