Level-by-Level

Primary Level K-2nd Grade

  • Focus: Wonder & Foundation: A joyful, hands-on introduction to classical Christian education through play, discovery, and modeling.
  • Courses: Math, Phonics-based Language Arts, Bible, Literature, History, Science, Latin

Grammar Level 3rd-6th Grade

  • Focus: Knowledge & Memory: Laying the foundation of knowledge through memorization, recitation, and joyful learning.
  • Courses: Math, Language Arts & Composition, Bible, Latin, and Omnibus combining: History, Literature, Geography, and Science.

Logic Level 7th-8th Grade

  • Focus: Questions & Reasoning: Training students to ask good questions and reason through arguments.
  • Courses: Math, Christian Studies, Church History, Logic & Critical Thinking, Omnibus, Integration with Literature, Latin & Spanish, and Science.

Rhetoric Level 9th-12th Grade

  • Focus: Wisdom & Expression: The capstone of classical learning: wisdom expressed with beauty and truth.
  • Courses:
    • Math: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus (personalized pace based on readiness and mastery)
    • Bible, Theology & Worldview: Systematic theology, apologetics, biblical worldview applied to literature/politics/culture
    • Omnibus: American Studies, Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Great Books. Combines literature, theology, philosophy, history with composition
    • Classical Rhetoric: Art of persuasive speech, delivery, expression. Apologetics and junior thesis (20–30-page paper with oral defense)
    • Foreign Language: Spanish I-IV
    • Science: Fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, Advanced Biology. All courses include laboratory experience.
    • Economics & Personal Finance: Christiaan stewardship, economic theory, life management.
    • Fundamentals of Professionalism: Career and calling preparation, resume writing, communication, internships, mentorships.
